Why do we pray?
Prayer is a powerful gesture
Why do we pray?
Not we must because it is practised as a chore
But something that we choose to do
As prayers are heard
By those who listen
And who are pure in spirit
Why do we pray?
If only to mock it afterwards.
When a miracle happens...
Why pray if truly don't believe
The miracle in the good
Of those who come
Soon as the prayer is spoken
It is sad,
When those say continuously
On daily basis must pray
Then temporarily become sceptical to what they've been told...
Why do we pray?
Because the power of miracles
Happen with angels
Hearing all and protect us
So I ask
Why do we pray
If don't believe
In the miracle
That had saved us...

Just watched a movie based on true story about the cokeville elementary of 1986. At first I thought it was another silly movie until I continued to watch and what had lost and spellbound was how captivating the story was. I'm a strong believer in guardian angels and protectors of all no matter if ancestor angel or just animal.
I had cried towards the end and made me realise to write this poem. With the verse of the 2kings 6:16.
Fear not. For they that be with us are more than they he with them.
Even the title says miracle of prayers but I think if I put it as why do we pray. Would appear more as a question then poem title.
